1. Overview
Timely offers paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. We want every customer to be confident in their purchase, so the policy below explains when a refund is available, how to request one, and how long it takes to be processed.
2. Refund eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund in any of the following cases:
- 14-day money-back window. First-time subscriptions can be refunded in full within 14 days of the initial charge for any reason.
- Accidental renewals. If your annual subscription auto-renews and you request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge, we will issue a full refund and cancel the renewal.
- Service unavailability. If a confirmed Timely outage prevents normal use of the Service for more than 48 consecutive hours, we will issue a pro-rated refund or credit for the affected period.
3. What is not refundable
The following situations are not eligible for a refund:
- Subscriptions older than 14 days for first-time purchases.
- Monthly subscriptions after the 14-day window has passed.
- Charges resulting from violations of our Terms & Conditions.
- Partial-month usage when you cancel mid-cycle — you continue to have access until the end of the paid period.
- Add-ons or one-time fees that have already been delivered.
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- Submit a request through our Contact page with the subject line “Refund request”.
- Include the email address used for payment, the organization name, the date of the charge, and a brief reason for the request.
- Our team will review the request and reply within one business day with the next steps.
5. Processing time
Approved refunds are issued through the original payment method:
- Stripe (cards). Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
- SSLCommerz (cards, mobile banking, net banking). Refunds usually settle within 7–14 business days, depending on the originating bank.
Once a refund is initiated from our side, the timing is governed by the payment processor and your bank.
6. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Organization Admin panel. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to the Service continues until the end of the current billing period.
Cancelling alone does not trigger a refund — you must explicitly request one following the steps in “How to request a refund” above.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
We strongly prefer to resolve concerns directly. If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Disputed charges may result in immediate suspension of your subscription pending resolution.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Refund requests are evaluated against the policy in effect on the date of the original charge.
